The following section describes how to export product and product group data to CSV or XML files.

How to export products or product groups to an XML or CSV file.

1. Choose Export product or Export product group as data transfer activity.
    
2. Click Next to go to Page 2.
   
   
    
3. Fill in the fields as shown above.
    
   • File format
     Choose whether to export the data to a CSV or XML file.
      
   • Folder
     Choose the folder where the file containing the exported data should be placed. As default the file is placed in /Files/Integration. You can choose a file from another location in the File Manager by clicking the Browse icon.
      
   • File
     Enter a name for the file.
      
   • Product group
     Choose the product group which you want to export data from by clicking Choose group.
      
   • Shop
     If you only want to export data from a certain shop then choose the shop from the dropdown. (This only applies when exporting group data)
      
4. Click Next to proceed to the final step.
    
5. Click Run to import the data into eCommerce. A report will be displayed telling you about the status of the import.

If you have not entered any information in the additional fields and they contain default information then all products/ product group data from all shops are exported to the file.
